General
ChopDog wants you to have a pleasant experience when you shop through us. We want you to save some money and earn rewards. We will match those reward amounts to a nonprofit you select when you register. You can always skip and save money without registering and providing any personal information to us whatsoever. However to earn rewards and match it to a nonprofit of your choice you must register with us. With regards to information provided to charities and traditional stores, it is the same information you would normally provide. The only information a nonprofit will be provided by ChopDog is your name, address, city, state and zip code. No telephone numbers or email addresses are ever provided to an outside source unless required by federal or state authorities. The same information is available to a traditional merchant that you may have redeemed a coupon at their store. As stated in the ChopDog.com Terms & Conditions, no organization will ever call you or email you directly as result of ChopDog supplying a phone number or email address. If you wish to give them your email and/or phone number that will be your choice at the time of purchase or when making a donation. If you make a donation to a nonprofit through the “Donate Now” page, a letter is sent to you for tax purposes.
ChopDog reserves the right to change this policy at anytime without notice or approval. In the event we make changes to our privacy policy, we will post them here first. So feel free to check back if you have concerns or just want to review our current policy.
