What is a ChopDog distributor?
A distributor is an individual or company that purchases a portion of the revenue rights to a specific zip code, in which any entity (subscriber, business, non-profit) is registered.
How do I make money as a distributor?
It’s all about revenue sharing! ChopDog.com generates revenue four different ways:
Commission Revenue On Product Purchases
First, when a registered subscriber makes an online purchase in your zip code, you earn a portion of the revenue share ChopDog receives as commission for the sale. Commission percentages and sales amounts vary by merchant and product type. But it could be anything from $.01 to $20.00 per transaction. The eCommerce market is huge and growing rapidly. Current reports show it at over $15 billion. A small portion of a big number is a lot of money!
Coupon Redemption Revenue
The second way is when a registered subscriber uses a ChopDog coupon you earn a portion of the coupon redemption fee. Coupon redemption fees are like paying your advertising expenses after the sale has been made. There are no upfront costs for the business, which makes it very attractive for them to join. A feedback system and a built in marketing system will keep them honest and us paid. Coupon redemption fees are $.50 to $100 per redeemed coupon and you receive 20% for helping that business grow. The coupon industry alone in the USA is over $6 billion. But with our system it is more like an advertising and lead generation tool, which makes this number even larger.
Web Site Design & Hosting Revenue
The third way you earn revenue as a distributor is through commissions paid on web design and hosting packages. You’ll receive a portion of the design and monthly hosting fee. Hosting fees start at $14.99 to $29.99. Web site design revenues could be as high as $4000 for eCommerce driven sites or higher. In either case, you make 20% for helping that business or individual promote their product or service on the Internet.
Pay Per Click (PPC) Revenue
The fourth way you make money is on pay per click (PPC) ads from registered businesses within your zip code that chose to further promote their product or service. These are the display ads that are located on the sides of the pages that viewers click on to get more information. PPC revenue is small but could add up to big dollars depending upon the traffic...just look at Google. With all these income sources and ChopDog’s unique marketing model, the potential for you to generate significant, sustainable income is there; and our staff can show you how. Best of all, virtually all of the income you generate is passive residual income. You get rewarded for choosing to help subscribers save money, businesses increase sales and non-profits raise money. In our business model it is all about helping others, which in turn helps you.
Are there any more advantages of being a ChopDog distributor?
In addition to revenue sharing mentioned above there are many more reasons to become a ChopDog distributor.

How much is a distributorship?
Prices for a zip code vary depending on the number of households and businesses in the zip code, so check out our zip code valuation model. Once you have made an application for a distributorship, you ChopDog representative can give you more details.
What assurance do I have that I am not overpaying for a distributorship?
If after your first 12 months, you are not happy with your return or the business, just send us a notice of your intent and ChopDog will refund your distributorship fee less any monies you have been paid by the end of month 13. We’ll hate to see you go but our goal is build a unified and enthusiastic distributor base. How fair is that?
Will ChopDog finance my distributorship?
For a limited time, your second or third zip code is financed without interest or
payment for one year. Beginning in month 13 ChopDog takes ½ of your monthly income and
applies it to the distributorship price until it is either paid or 12 consecutive
payments have been applied, which ever comes first. For example, if the zip code
valuation was $6,000 and in month 13 your earnings were $2,000 per month, we would
deduct $1,000 per month for 6 months. Likewise, if your zip code earnings in month 13
proved to be only $800 per month, we would deduct $400 per month for the 12-month
period. In this case, your resulting payment for the zip code would be $4800 (12 x $400).
All at no interest! This unique financing offer is limited to only one zip code.
However, you can purchase up to three zip codes with only the least expensive zip code
financed. ChopDog is in it for the long haul... "your success is our success."
Do I have to renew my distributorship every year?
Yes. There is an annual renewal fee after the first year (13th month) equal to 25% of your monthly income average over the preceding 6 months. Consequently, if you averaged $2,000 per month for the past 6 months, then the renewal fee would be $500 for the year.
How do I enroll as a distributor for ChopDog?
ChopDog is not a multilevel marketing plan where anyone and everyone signs up. First, you must go through an application process. Complete the application and registration form. You will be assigned a preliminary account from which you can shop, save, earn and give. The actual distributorship approval is made individually by our management team. Once you have completed the application, it is forwarded to our team. Management will review it and talk to you. If we feel comfortable with your ability to help others and be a success, and you feel comfortable with our vision and understand your role, then welcome to the team. It’s that easy.
Are there any restrictions to becoming a distributor?
Yes. We will run a background check on you personally and corporately. If we believe there is something in your background that concerns us, we will address it with you.
Can I own more than one zip code?
As a ChopDog distributor you can own up to 3 zip codes, but you can not reside more than 15 miles from the beginning of the furthest zip code. We actually prefer you to live in the zip code you want. We believe that it is important to get individuals that know the community inside and out. Additionally, if you meet with non-profits or businesses, driving time and gas expenses will be kept at a minimum.
Why am I limited to three zip codes as a maximum?
ChopDog is interested in individuals and companies that want to really focus on a given territory and make an immediate impact within a specific geographical area. It is our belief, that even if you could afford more than three zip codes, you would not have the time to create a successful launch.
How much can I earn as a distributor?
Earnings and effort are directly related. Nothing in life is easy or free. Consequently, individual results will vary depending upon the amount of effort you put in and the dynamics of your zip code. Our staff will review with you, as part of the application process, your earning potential based on the zip code(s) for which you are applying. Depending on the zip code and your efforts, we believe it could be $100 to $15,000 per month.

I know subscribers earn reward points but as a distributor do I earn them, too?
Yes. When you enroll as distributor you also are a subscriber that can save money and earn reward points like everyone else. Your reward points never expire as long as you are actively participating in the program i.e. making online purchases and using coupons. An account that shows no activity for 12 consecutive months is considered dormant. A dormancy fee of 100 points per month is applied to the account to cover data and administrative costs until either the points are gone or it becomes active again. Additionally, if you decide to opt out of the program for some reason, you will be encouraged to use up your points with gift card purchases. Any remaining points will be lost.
How are reward points redeemed?
You can redeem your points by going to the redemption center and cashing them in for gift cards.
When do rewards post to my account?
Your rewards post to your personal reward statement at the end of each month.
Do I earn income on my own purchases?
Yes as long as you live in the zip code for which you have a distributorship. Reward points are always earned regardless of zip code ownership.
Do I have to log on to ChopDog.com in order to make online purchases?
No but it is highly advised. Most if not all on line vendors use cookies as a means to pay commissions back to ChopDog which in turn will be paid to you. However if you clear out your cookies and go directly to a store’s web site to make a purchase, you will not get commission. Additionally some cookies expire in 30 days. So it’s always a good idea to log onto to ChopDog.com and search for your product or favorite online store.

- The cookies you had with your online merchant may have expired because you did not go through ChopDog.com.
